Shame. All I get is
"This video does not exist.
Sorry about that."

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Well, I don't know what to say...

Could be a regional thing like all the vids from the US that won't play in Canada...

I only know that the singers name is Paul Pigat, but they both look like pretty handy players. I can't play that kind of stuff at all. And yes, those are from my shop....

Not at all like so many "styling" Christmas renditions out there. Very nice, Ed. The guitars as well!

Nice job, thanks! I got the second upload to play. Maybe the first was uploaded in the 23rd hour of the NewMoon on solstice and sublimed into the ether?

Just to be clear, that is definitely not me playing. Them guys are actually good!

But the Lee Valley threaded inserts make the guitars sound really nice. I take back anything bad I ever said about LV...;)
