Richard Brune' makes and sells classical guitars and he is in Evanston, just north of Chicago. Hogeye is in Evanston also and Jim is a talented repair guy. I don't personally know others and I just finished my first guitar with Bruce from Chicago Luthiers Workshop. He's busy until after the holidays.
