So sorry Wud! I think I'm gonna get the vaccine. I've heard that shingles makes grown men cry! I'll be scratching a different itch this weekend.....the itch to be in my shop, doing the last step before finishing on the J 45 (neck carving). Already have the heel fully shaped, and waiting for my headplate that Don W inlaid for me.
Chasing a small gap at the back of the heel with flossing.

DON'T SCRATCH that ITCH!!!

Good luck with the shingles. Too bad you're not a roofer. That would be ironic.

Ouch! Hope you get over it soon, Wud. My brother had shingles soon after chemo and radiation treatments a few years ago. I'm not sure which one he thought was worse.

I'm in the process of building an amp cabinet for a tube amp project I'm working on.

I'm using a plan for a Fender Champ cabinet. Next I have to build a jig for doing 1/4" finger joints. There is always another jig. gaah

I'm following a set of plans to try and reproduce the cabinet in as close to original size and construction as when they were first made. As it turns out this cabinet is waaay smaller than I imagined. I'm going to consider this as a test run and probably build another with bigger dimensions. The pint glass in the first picture is there for scale.

Rosette work and shortly bracing for the new builder OM baritone (tentative) the top is pretty thin and I want to use 2 fingers and one tone bar. What's the difference in force exerted by a 27.5 baritone vs a 25.7 standard guitar? Since I sold my baritone I've wanted a replacement. P
