Well done, Tony. Congrats. Is there a formula for how big a sound port can be relative to the size of the sound hole and the size of the box? Beth

Thanks Beth. I don't know about a formula. I made the sound hole 3 and 7/8ths which is small for a dreadnought, because of the two ports, but I didn't use a formula. It just felt right if that makes sense. The main port is pretty big on this guitar.

Very nice Tony. I like Bloodwood against walnut, and the rosette is particularly attractive.

Thanks Steve! I really like bloodwood binding but the splinters are awful!

Beautiful guitar, Tony. All the details work well together. How do you like the side ports?

Ah, have you worked with Wenge yet?

Steve,
No I have not had the pleasure of a wenge splinter yet. But I am not looking forward to it!

Ken,
I love the ports. They really allow the player to hear the true voice of the guitar. I have put them in 3 of the 4 guitars I have completed.
