Hey guys, I ran across this wonderful set of Cocobolo, and am interested if there is anyone out there that knows where I can get a similar looking set. I am low on cash right now but if there's a set floating out there for me, I might be able to dig something up. Or at least it will be a good thing to know that it is out there, maybe when I get some extra money.....here it is

Ah, I thought I'd seen that before http://www.hibdonhardwood.com/Images/Coc-945.jpg

Long since sold, but you could check if they have more like it. Hibdon's prices on fancy sets are pretty crazy high nowadays though.

Yeah I noticed that the prices were pretty high. I was just scanning through their website, and there was a really nice set in the HIGHLT FIGURED section, minus the sapwood that looked pretty sweet also, but seems like that one is gone also

You can't have something for less 'cause you don't want to pay what it's worth.
The prices are not pretty high, they are what they are.

If you call Jerry at Hibdon, he has A LOT more sets than what is up on the site. He will find something to your liking. But yes, you will have to pay a pretty penny or two for it.

I have been to Hibdon and looked through his materials as many have , yes he is higher on some stuff than maybe others are , however the QUALITY is there !
If you want a less costly set , call Jerry and tell him what your looking for . I would be willing to bet he can get you what you want at a price you can live with .
