Does anyone know if there is such a thing as double sided drawer rails?

What I am looking to do is put a pseudo drawer under my small utility work bench that I can access from either side (I use the bench from both sides). In a perfect world it would have a catch that would stop it from rolling all the way off the rails, but I could do without it if absolutely necessary.

I have an idea of how to make a shop made one, but I would rather buy professional roller guides if they exist.

Another thing to consider is the standard box and face drawer construction has to be different, as the side spacing, for the slides, must be open, to allow clearance from the cabinet carcass.

I ran into the same thing for a bench I was going to make for my sister. I like the idea though. Let us know how you work this out!

Cool... Thanks!

They don't need to be full extension slides. This is a pretty small bench (about 24 x 32). I just need a place to put the basic tools that I always use so they are not constantly on the bench top.

The accurides are good. I've used them exclusively for years, including a couple of "pass through" drawers on island cabinets. I get them at wholesale hardware outlets- let me know if you need help scoring a few sets.
