driven site. It's a basic one page layout with a personal feel, good
separation of information, and still easy to follow.

Don't even look at either of mine for guidance, they absolutely stink. Amateuristic isn't a good way to go...

I like Judy Threet's as a builder-selling-guitars-site. Lots of photos and info, easy to navigate, not a lot of verbiage. The eye-candy is foremost, with good photography, but a lot of text info is close to at hand. Very professional but not too glitzy. A lot of thought went into its structure.

For building info sites, I like Frets.com, Jon Sevy's luthier's page, and Sylvan Wells' articles page. It was Kathy Matsushita's site that convinced me I could build a guitar.

Most of my favorites have been mentioned already. There are some brilliant ideas on Dennis Scanell's True North site as well as Mario Proulx's site. I'd love to get an opportunity to play guitars from both those guys. Alan Dunwell recently added a "Let Build a Guitar" pictorial essay on his site and there are some excellent ideas there, including detail on his double top guitars. Alan is a regular at the anual RMMGA gathering in Wimberley Texas every October and I've played several of his guitars there. I'm not generally a dread guy but he had one there a couple years ago that just blew me away and I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.
