Hi all,

It is good to see the OLF back up and running. I have not been active here for a couple of years. I do stop by once in a while, and saw that funding has been an issue for Lance. I was a regular contributer for a long time but stopped for my own "specific" reason, but now I decided to start donating again to keep the forum open. I would rather help keep this resource available than to stick to my own petty issues and have it dissapear. I hope other people will do the same.

I am just getting back into my shop after a couple of years due to an injury. I was working on my house and fell from a ladder onto concrete from about 15 feet. Fortunately I am pretty agile and had the sense to roll when I hit the ground feet first, but my lower back took the brunt of the fall. I fractured my L5 vertebrae (last vert befor your pelvis) and for months I couldn't sit, stand or lay without serious pain. Fortunately I didn't need surgery and I am finally getting back to good after months and months of physical therapy and chiropractic visits. I am just getting back to sort out where I left off.

I had 2 projects started when I was forced to stop, one was a reproduction of a 1830 Panormo, and the other was a short scale bass, both in the early stages so I am just getting back into the shop and will pick up where I left off.

It is good to be back and hopefully we can all contribute enough to keep the lights on here for a long time, I will be doing my part to help in that goal.

Thanks for reading,

Cheers,
Bob

Thanks for the well wishes guys,

My chiropractor set me free this spring and I have been trying to play catch up with yardwork and fixer up jobs around the house that have been ignored.

I am almost back to 100% other than I can not lift any heavy weight. I got most of the work done around the house and am ready to get back into my shop...

I am just sorting out where I left off in my shop now so I should be back at it in short order.

Thanks again guys ;)

Cheers,
Bob
