I hope everything's OK, I've been trying to get in touch for nearly a couple of weeks.
PM's not been picked up and no response to a query in a post - ?

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

He sort of dropped away. He was going to send me some pictures of a couple of sets of wood, and I never got them. Maybe he covered his needs and didn't need to sell any more. I don't know. He's probably just caught up in family Summer fun!

Spoke with him via email last week. I think it's a busy time of year for most of us.

I've been wondering the same. No luck with PMs for the past few weeks. I hope everything is ok.

He's alive. He just cherry picked some of my best stuff, again. ;-)
