Usually when starting on a new guitar, I start looking around for ideas on binding/purfling schemes, rosette ideas, heel grafts, general design features.
I know in the past there has been "lets see your______ " threads and if I recall there was a library on some forum of purflings.
I thought it would be handy if there was a category, maybe under the photos section, of these design elements which could be easily accessed. A pictorial reference library of lutherie.
Anyone wishing to share their ideas could post. No chat other than the materials used.
If this generates enough interest, maybe Lance would be convinced to look into it.
