I just finished up two more guitars, and they're ready to head out the door to there final destination. This one was a special build that'll be auctioned off for charity benefitting the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center. A foundation that helps children that have been the victim of sexual abuse. The guitar itself now heads off to Luke Bryan's house to be autographed, and then to Dierks Bently for his John Hancock. These two autographs will hopefully add to the final auction price, so we can help out more kids.

Guitar Details:

Top: Port Orford Cedar
B&S: Oregon Myrtlewood
Neck: Maple
Scale: 25.4 / 12 Fret
Model: Session
Inlays: The little kids on the lower back & flower on the back of the headstock are logos used for the foundation, and all hand made by me.

As for the sound, This was my first POC topped guitar, and Im totally floored by how well it sounds! everything I love about Spruce, but with more responsiveness.

This guitar has a natural beauty to it, Chris, and the children holding hands is very touching. Very well done!

Very very nice and good for you on the donation. Would be interested in how the kids on the back were inlayed. - Mike

As always, excellent work. Thanks for sharing and a good luck with the auction. I hope it hammers for a zillion dollars!

Every player is different, of course, but I find that having the strap button positioned closer to the heel than the fretboard creates the sensation that the guitar is falling away from me. I don't like that.

Love it! Love the neck! Especially I love the inlays on the back...way cool.

That's been my experience too. A lot more headroom than most cedars but with similar overtones.
Beautiful guitar and nice photos BTW.
