Hi all,
When I was posting about making a fret board inlay representative of neurons on a little Terz guitar, one of you asked if I would post pictures of the completed project. So here are a few pictures. It's got a curly redwood top with Hormigo back and sides. The bridge is Brazilian rosewood. I'm very happy with this guitar. It's surprising how much volume a little guitar can produce. Thanks for looking.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

One of a kind beauty, Pat! What finish did you use? I like the way it shows the curl in the redwood.

Looks interesting, Pat.

They have only one recommended sprayer, the binks. What do you use?

Brad, I use the mini spray gun from this kit I got from Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.lvlp ... 18438.html I wasn't really after two spray guns, I just wanted a mini LVLP. However after looking around quite a bit, this seemed like the best option. Nothing special but it seems to do the job just fine using my small, 8 gallon, compressor. I use an air pressure of 40 - 45 psi as measured at the tank.
