I ordered a set of Claro from OLF sponsor Felly (http://www.fiddlebackwoodshack.com) last week and it arrived today.
It is with out question the most beautiful set if Claro I have ever held in my hands. I also got 10 strips of
Claro binding, a neck blank and a headstock overlay.

Have a look!

Beautiful! Absolutely sublime. I was going between one of those sets and the one I eventually picked when I placed my order.

I am on the fence whether to use a unique set of cedar I have or some sinker
Redwood from Pacific Coast Tonewoods.

Consider torrefied Sitka. The color is similar to cedar. It is snappy and responsive.
