I have some Very nice Quilted Maple sets for sale in the classifieds. I have a young fellow building his first guitar in my shop right now and he using some of the same wood. IMHO the sides are as good as it gets for Quilt and the back is almost there. The couple photos speak for themselves.

I came into a pretty hefty pile of Quilt. Some of it is different but equally pretty. I would entertain some volume discounts and I said in the classifieds I will include some bindings and trim. I've used lots of Curly for bindings in the past but never Quilt. I've decided to use it for bindings on a current build and it would appear that it will look great.

Cheers,
Danny

Whoa! Now that is some tasty zoot! Stain that sucker and it could pass for hog from "The Tree".

I might have to go look at that classified ad! ;)

The young fellows first guitar to boot. I gave him free reign as I wasn't going to build it for him. He's already learned how to remove a glued plate. He glued the back on the top side of the rims. oops_sign He said "Awww, we messed up". Me, " We!! I don't think so". Haha. Life lessons.
