Brent from ASW sent me a few gems to share with our fine community!
First order of business is a Hugh Thanks to Brent!
He is doing some super cool stuff up in the far reaches of Alaska.
Salvaging wood is no simple job.

Watch the OLF AND the OLF FACEBOOK page
for the giveaways. It'll be the old name in a hat drawing.
More details tomorrow. For now get over and LIKE the LuthiersForum FB and while your there
Show ASW some love and like their ad and their page.

More to come!!

I'll take a closer look tonight. I unboxed but didn't unwrap. I like to let the wood acclimate a little. Ill get pictures and more info tonight.

Thanks again Brent!

Lance, I would strongly recomend that you open up the package and sticker stack all of the boards with some weight on top. Let them breath and acclimate controlled., Thy came from a rainforest, crossed ocean, desert or whtever. If the MC is at 10% or more it could mold in the stack. You don't want blue spots to start. Te spore is in the air here and all it takes is the right conditions like 70 degres, 70% or more RH and no air circulation...and then ya have a painted top soundboard.
