Was in the local Goodwill looking for a used backpack for my wife, and saw a guitar in the corner.
It's a '79 Takamine EF 307S- known by some as the "lawsuit" guitar. Solid spruce top, plywood
sides/back. It's been played a lot, string grooves into the fretboard, string notches in the frets,
and some kid's idea of decoration. Since I took the picture, I cleaned off the top and strung it
up. Doesn't sound bad at all, just not very loud, which I figure is a combination of the size and
being overbuilt. I don't know if the electronics work or not, the wiring is all there but the endpin
is missing so I have to order one with a jack and install it. But I'm happy for $15...

Excellent deal. That's better than the Seagull 12 string I got for $15 (had a cracked neck - easily fixed).

I had a Takamine I bought new back in the 70's. It was a D-28 knockoff. I think it was something like a model F-370. It was a nice guitar, great sound and it was loud.
