I'm considering building a semi-hollow electric guitar in the style of a Gibson ES-339/CS-356. There are few cases available for this size of guitar. A case for an Epiphone is available but it has "Epiphone" plastered on the outside of the case in gold lettering. Is there a way to remove that lettering on the outside of the case without messing up the case?

Bumper sticker?
I'm getting an Epiphone case for an LP build. Same dilemma.

Automotive stores sell vinyl paint for painting car seats. You may be able to paint over it.

Lacquer thinner will usually remove silk screened logos like this. Be warned it may also harm the substrate. Try on a small area first.

We used to use this method to remove unwanted logos from bicycle seats when I was a bike mechanic.
