Here is a jig based on the Gore books for intonation, using ideas the Al Carruth used, basically a fretboard with the nut slot moved in about 5mm, 3 is all you need but gave me some room for adjustment, a adjustable nut and saddle, with a taper so I could get close to the actual stirng height above the first and 12 fret, feeler guage in the middle was to correct for relief, board is a screw up made of ebony , fret slots are accurate though, then using the book as guidelines I simply moved the nut and saddle to get the string intonated up and down the fretboard, I did this with each string then measured the offset using my handy stew mac string height guage, these numbers were recorded then using a cad program I drew out the nut and saddle which I then loaded into Vcarve pro and using my trusty little cnc I machined the saddle and nut out of Tusq blanks, of which I ended up with a couple of practice pieces!!dangit [headinwall] ..
after all said and done here is the cents change for each string using Ap tuner for android, very good tuner I might add, cost like 3 bucks.. the back and sides are from " A Tree" laughing6-hehe quilted sapele

3rd fret 7th 12th
low e -9 0 -7 pesky low e
a -1 -5 2
d 0 6 0
g 3 0 -7
b 1 1 -5
e 1 1 -5
