Hi All
Its been awhile since I have been on the OLF. I am back building but it I have forgotten a few things. I am building a 12 string and I am using Gotoh 510 mini's. Just curious, what dimension do most of you use for your headstock thickness with these tuners?
Thanks
Andy

Andy, I built a simple little drilling jig for mini tuners on a straight sided head stock. It if would be helpful I could loan it to you when you get ready to drill

Also, these are Grovers, but I don't like the washers that came with them - way too big. You might want to see if you can find something smaller.

Hey Andy,
You have to go with the same thickness (or at least VERY close) or the tuners won't fit. If you are worried about strength, you could always embed carbon rods in the headstock/scarf area.

Thanks for the info.
I don't need a template. I have one.
