I haven't seen anyone post some playing videos for a while so here's Lucas Haneman playing a classical I recently finished. This guitar has a western red cedar top and hormigo back/sides. The interesting thing about this guitar is that I almost trashed it. After the body was built, the back went concave and I ended up putting a few cracks in it trying to get the dome back. Eventually, I took the back right off, thinned it and lined it with mahogany. I re-braced it and put it back on the sides and recovered the guitar. And the cracks aren't too visible in the highly figured hormigo. So sometimes stubbornness pays off. Hope you enjoy the tune - it's a jazz standard called "It Could Happen To You".

Wonderful! Great looking guitar and a very talented artist to test it out. When you say "lined it" with mahogany do you mean the linings on the side? Or are you saying you converted it to a laminate back? Just curious. I like the shape of the guitar too. And the rosette looks great.

Thanks for the comments. The back is now a laminate - hormigo on the outside, mahogany on the inside with a total thickness of around 3 mm. I wanted to be sure that it would not crack again.
