Title pretty much says it all. I have a coworked that asked me if I knew anyone to adjust a high key on his accordian. I know nothing about them so I'm no touching it (would if it were mine). I told him I would ask here and see if anyone know an experienced repairman nearby.

Ideal to find someone located between Memphis and Oklahoma City (East to West) and between Kansas City and Dallas (North to South)......but he might consider other options.

Thanks!

We have an accordian player here in Wichita who owns a music store, I asked him once about doing accordian repair, and he told me "They work, or they don't".

I know that's not much help.... maybe someone in or near an Italian conclave, or up north in polka country.

I don't know anything about accordions but it seems according to the "how it's made" videos I have seen, they are tuned when they were made so they either work or they dont... I guess the only thing that could possibly go wrong is a bad spring or bellow.

getting to the rod can be a project in itself though ....
