Kite shop.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I just used hot glue. Not hide glue but a hot glue gun.

Or you can get some of that rubber dip made for tool handles.

Both are available at your local hardware store.

I used Plasti-Dip. You know, the rubberized coating they use for tool handles and such. I picked up a small can at Home Depot for a few bucks.
