I'm nearly done building my first parlor guitar and now am searching for a case. My guitar is far smaller than what most think of when the think of parlor (it's based off the Torres SE 117 plantilla) so finding a case has proven to be nearly impossible. I've given up looking for something that will fit, so now I'm looking for custom cases; does anyone know of where to get a custom case for about $300? My current base price wouldn't warrant anything more expensive and I really can't afford to go any higher than that.

Try Ameritage cases. They built a custom baritone uke for me @ around $230. Ask them for the luthiers price.

I have had Cedar Creek build custom cases for several oddball guitars - a long scale small bodied 12 string and my wooden tricone - they are slow, expensive and worth it. They have a dimension worksheet on the website that is very complete - for example they included a little recess for the hand rest and tailpiece of the tricone. Should be right in your budget.

Ameritage Custom for me. Great cases, reasonable prices.

Why not build a case similar to what many of them originally came in -the so called "coffin" case. They are fun and easy to build and not too expensive. No, they aren't as bullet proof as a good custom case, but for average service they work fine.

I have been using cedar creek custom cases for my guitars lately and am very happy with them. Right in your price range too.
