This is just fitting for the season...

This is one of the most unusual and beautiful parlor guitars I have seen

What a wonderful little instrument.

Both sound good, but the Petros wins out for me with the balance and clarity,

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I ran into that snow parlor online some time ago and I absolutely love it. It is NOT easy to pull off an all (mostly) white guitar and this one is fabulous.
