The other day I was surfing different luthier sights and on one of them, which I forgot to bookmark, the luthier was using a sander that had a sanding bottom much like the three heads on a Norelco razer. It had three little what looked like flap wheels that each rotated independently of each other I think.

I can not find the site again, or course, but I am trying to figure out what the sander make and model were. It looked like a very nice but small sander and I thought at the time I should investigate more into it. So does anyone have any idea of what the sander might have been and what the model might have been?

Thanks for any help,
Chuck

Chuck, I believe this is the sander you are talking about. It's a Craftsman, and I put a link to the website you probably saw it on below the pic.

That is it and that is also the website. Thank you very much! I spent over an hour looking for it. I actually went back to his website and somehow I did not find it there. So thank you again for this. Now I need to see if Craftsman still sells it as it just looked like a great sander for building.

Went to sears today to see if I could buy one of these sanders. They are no longer made I was told. So I guess I can watch Craigslist and ebay unless anyone knows of where I can purchase one or something like it.

have you thought about the multitool - I have one of these and it is pretty useful when you need a small sander

Yes I have something very similar but if I am not careful I get a crease where I am trying to sand so I was looking for the one with the three wheels which apparently doesn't do this. Thanks for your suggestion.
