What do you think of this jointer and the price?

http://lincoln.craigslist.org/tls/3910469100.html

I'm have very little experience in know a good tool from a bad tool - so help me out.

IF this is a decent jointer - what would be an appropriate price for it?

Thanks

I believe it's gone....

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
