I wanted to say a big "Thank you" to Andy Birko in as public a way as I can. I am currently working on the Hurricane Sandy giveaway guitar and after several conversations with the future owner, he wanted his last name on the fret board in pearl. I have neither the skills nor the time to learn them to do this inlay myself, so I turned to Andy for help. I was willing to pay for the work since Andy had already donated the fretboard and bridge for this build. I wont give any numbers, but the price was out of reach for a guitar I was giving away and I would not recoup the money on. I thanked Andy for his time and told the owner I could not do his name. Andy, who as it turns out, has a big heart to go with his big moustache, did some thinking and got back to me with a greatly reduced price and a great offer. He is donating his time to do the design work, I am buying the materials, he will squeeze it in between other jobs, and everyone is happy.
So, thank you Andy for going above and beyond the call of duty. I plan to post many, many pics of the finished work once I have it. This is a guy who deserves your business if you need custom inlay and CNC work.

I could not agree more - a fine fellow to work - he made a few bridges for me and they are spectacular!
