Has anyone ever used, or heard of anyone using, or heard of anyone who's ever heard of anyone using the Jet Oscillating 22-44 in lutherie? My main concern is tolerance. I can usually get to within .005 with regular drum sanders. If I could get that with the oscillating version, well what wouldn't there be to like? (except 6" less shop space)

I will say that they work better than they should given how simple they are... There's probably a clue there somewhere.
