Had a bad moment there for a while when the forum came up blank this morning. I now realize I'm addicted to the OLF idunno

"View active topics" ignores the main guitar section for me since this morning, has anyone else found that to be true on their computer?

Yes me too, AND the main forum is not visible in the Index UNLESS you are logged in.
I think this is just a setting somewhere. It will get fixed.
Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah me too. I have been playing around most the day on the new settings in the control panel.
Just a few more tweaks to these changes and Ill be adding a LOCAL LIKE button. One that is not
connected to FB.

Is there any way to make an OLF "like" button? Or it could be "zoot" or whatever, but you could mouse over it and see the forum members who like your post? Or do the current changes allow this and I just don't know what I'm doing?

Lance--Thanks for taking care of this. I don't much care about being up to date. Facebook? Linkedin? Match.com? Why would I care? The joke at my old job was "I don't use that tool. I find an old rusty nail works just as well." I hope that fellow Luddites won't be turned away.

"Ok, you are cooking with gas now, Lance! Filippo"

Very efficient, and a wonderful quote of John Lee Hooker. But "cooking with wood" still tastes better. I look forward to a cross-coast barbecue.

I hear ya Eric.
I dont think anyone will be turned away. The Twitter button and Facebook LIKE buttons are so unobtrusive that if you didnt know what to look for you might not see them. Which is kind of what I wanted because we do have a very diverse group of "tech interested" people.

This way, those that DO use the new tools can, and those that don't, wont be bothered by them [:Y:]

Awesome! The only issue I'm having is if I try to "Like" a post, it automatically posts that like to facebook, when I only intend it for this forum. Is there are way to choose?

No because that is a Facebook like button. We will be adding a local OLF Like button soon. That will stay with inside the OLF system...
