Hello all, I recently bought new acoustic and I LOVE the stock strings. I bought it from a music store, the strings had been changed, but they dont know what they had been changed to. These strings have a very sweet-sounding tone. They were the warmest, richest, sweetest string I have every played. They were also VERY loud! They had an unusually strong red tint to them. I took the strings off and put on elixer phosphors, which had a red tint, but not quite as much as the "stock" strings. On this particular guitar, the elixirs dont even come close. Im guessing that these strings maybe have a higher copper content? That might explain the heavy red tint, but Im not sure. Does anybody have any leads as to what these strings might be? I have bought a few packs of other strings in attempt to achieve the tone of the "stock" strings, but to no avail. I found a brand called "Red" that I am interested in trying, but im curious if you guys have any other ideas as to what these string/similar strings might be. -Alex
