Oregonwildwood.com sometimes has bastogne walnut. I have gotten grafted walnut that is top-notch from Dana there. He is a pleasure to deal with.

Global Wood Source in San Jose has some nice Bastogne Walnut sets and billets right now - I saw them there about a week ago.
Their prices start high, but you can haggle with them :)

Cheers,
Dave F.

Thanaks all.

Oregonwildwood hasn't had anything on their site in awhile. Maybe I should email.

Charlie, got it. Thanks.

Dave, did they have it on their table at the show? Must have missed it. Not hard to do between the sleep deprivation and sensory overload. Will email them.

I've never done business with these guys but Talarico Hardwoods might have some.

Must have been the week before NAMM Kent....it was at their warehouse in SJ.

Are you just looking for one special set? I have a very nice set I purchased a few years ago from OregonWildWood that I'd let go just for you. Wanna talk?

Cheers,
Dave F.

Thanks Ken. I had been in contact with Talrico and he does have a couple of beautiful slabs but the price is prohibitive for me.

I found an even nicer slab that may be worth a try but we are still negotiating.

Dave, Thanks. Will send an email.
