Maybe it's where I live, but I swear, their shipping is so fast it almost arrives before I order. Every single time. This last shipment takes the cake. Ordered some HDPE for my mold making. Two pieces were 48"x2.5". So they put it all in a box that was 50"x14"x14". Could have stuffed a teenager in it. Or, a platypode. Had to hide the box so my wife did not think I left the reservation during her self imposed budget mode (she's worried that the kids are pushing us towards a fiscal cliff and that my actions will push us over)

Lol.

Funny you should mention that. I was just on their website tonight with my son, ordering some non-ferrous rod of different compositions for his science project. I told him the same thing -- "These guys are great! We'll get it in no time!" I've always loved them, but especially now that we're back on this side of the country. Aren't they in GA?

Yes, Georgia. I'm sure if ur further away, times get longer. I'm in Huntsville, my order was placed at 4pm, here next day at 5pm. But it's so cool thinking up a project one day, and having the stuff the next. Only other company better is Amazon with 2 day anywhere in country

Would be interested to find out how folks further away from Georgia fare.

I've been doing business with them for 22 years. It's the finest run company I know of.

I have used them for years also. We used them extensively when I was a Machine repairman in the power plants. If they don't have it, you don't need it. I used their 110V crtridge heaters to make my bending irons. Pals, Vic.

I never understood why if they can make a website that works so well, the rest of the world doesn't try to keep up.

I don't know if they are the best website, but in my book, they are one if the best run distributors of "stuff". They don't quibble over anything. You order it, they ship it, and it's there the next day. People like us like that. I don't even know if they have a customer support department... Never needed it. Says a lot!

They have a customer support dept. and it's as good as you would expect (i.e. very good).

just awesome! what every internet supplier should strive to be. we order from them at least every day -placed an order today myself in fact. they'll even call you to let you know whether something isn't shipable to california because of some "law" and suggest an alternative product. pricey but worth it. the only downside is the boxing- dino-sized is an understatement! and the shipping tubes. they usually require channel locks and a bench vise to get one open.

I like Dino sized boxes, and tubes that require a blow torch to open. But that's me!
