I am close to gluing down the bridge and neck extension on my first guitar. I am stressing a little about my neck angle. Currently with the frets installed, with a straight edge on the fret board, I have a clearance from the top to the strait edge of 0.393 inches, Is that a good number? I plan on using a .350 inch tall bridge.

Thanks,

EddieLee

Todd Thanks. Do you think that is a bit low, a bit high, or just right? I can argue all 3 [uncle]

I believe you are right on.

Recommended is 0.15 to 0.06. Your 0.043 is right where you want to be.

Aim for 12 to 14mm string height above the soundboard between strings 3 and 4 when all the dust has settled and you have the set-up as you want it. Remember that your top will likely pull up a bit as well as all the other things going on.
