Just wondering what you all think the minimum back thickness should be for an OM. I know there are variables etc., but I've got a glue line still 'ridged' on one side. It's at .090 right now, fairly sure it would even out by .080...too thin?

Don't take my word for it, but it's sounding a bit thin at .080 in the center of the back. At the edges I wouldn't blink. Steel stringers may have a different take on it.

If Alain and Barry say it's OK then it's OK, IMO. I stay a little thicker in the middle of the back, but I scoop my braces in the center instead of at the edges. Course I am not making steel strings.

It really depends on your building philosophy. That's right about on the boundary between an "active" and "reflective" back. Of course the bracing also affects this.
