For those of you that have built a twelve string, what tuners do you use? Thanks!

I used the StewMac Golden age restoration tuners http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guitar,_slotted_peghead_tuners/Golden_Age_Restoration_Tuners_for_12-String_Slotted_Peghead_Guitar.html for a slotted headstock and have found them to be very precise and without issues.

Isn't it Schaller that makes the M6 mini?

Mini Grovers on the paddle head, but I really don't like the big washers - I would do something different the next time.

and StewMac Golden Age on the slot

I also made a little drilling jig for the paddle head - makes getting the spacing correct much easier

Schaller does indeed make hte M6 mini .. but the Gotoh is better tuner (IMO) and you can get them with the schaller style M6 button .... or a host of others.
