I recently finished a Brazilian OM that I made from some BRW that came from an 1840 antique Whatnot which is a small set of shelves. The Brazilian I got from the Whatnot gave me 2 back sets as well as bridge blanks and other small parts. If you would like to have a look it is here http://www.anzlf.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4699 and I have also done a Youtube photo montage with sound here....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjpYDBsXd2M

Cheers

John

Looks great, you lucky duck!
I picked up an old solid mahogany dresser at Goodwill to reclaim the lumber. Needless to say, we now have a beautiful dresser but no new guitar.

That's great John! I keep looking in second hand shops hoping to come across a score that I could cut up. I'm pretty sure one of you guys was always there just before me. laughing6-hehe

Oh man, I was really liking the shelf unit thing. Seems sad to re-purpose something that nice. But the guitar looks great.

I respectfully disagree - I'll bet it sounds MUCH nicer that it used to.

How cool is that!!!???!!!
Sweet looking build overall, the Braz is amazing under that sweet finish.
The snakewood bindings are pretty cool too.
Nice attention detail with the compensated nut.
