Large format plan printing in UK was expensive, I was looking last year to print Grellier plans, about £30/copy.

I just found a new service which pints and posts A0 copies for about £6/copy, minimum order £24, and will mix prints (i.e. 4 plans)

(I have no connection with this company by the way)

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
