Hi

Is there a standard (recommended) dovetail bit angle, they come in anything from 7 degrees and upwards.

What angel, depth and diameter do you use, assuming you are not using the stew-mac bit with the guide

This is the bit I use.

It's 7 degree, 5/8" diameter, with a 1/2" shank.
