I'm here everyday, but I just noticed LMI's website has cocobolo listed as US only. Did I miss some important announcement regarding new restrictions?

That is the first I have heard also for cocobolo. I checked cities and it is listed. Apparently if it is from Panama you can still ship finished products.

Yep. I think the U.S. Lumber industry and the Environmentalists have worked together to effectively cut off supplies of wood except for what the USLI is buying/cutting. It's called "make it difficult for outside competition".

Not that cheap anymore either. Well, I supose it is compared to some of the other rosewoods. Me? I'm still using coco I bought 15 years ago for less than $100.
