We have a winner of the Challenge . Phillip Patton with 28% or 46 Votes !

Great Job Phillip .

I would like to thank everyone that participated and all those who took the time to review and vote . We had some very good builds and I appreciate everyone keeping the " Spirit" of the competition .

Congratulations, Phillip, the tailpiece was a treat to see made, but the rest was super clean and graceful instrument. I enjoyed all of the build threads.

And now the unofficial results, based on how interesting everyone found the build threads, measured on the views per build thread (isn't that what really counts?):

1st A very worthy winner indeed: Phil Patton, with 1770 views (as of now). Well done Phil, an inspiring build!

2nd Tai Fu with his ukulele. 1420 views. It might not have got the votes, but it certainly caught your interest. Well done Tai Fu.

3rd The Shed guitar by yours truly (Actually joint second! How did that happen? Someone's being paying a lot of attention recently! Tai Fu was way ahead of me!) 1420 views also.

A commendable 4th to John Cox, who caught your interest with 1290 views, but who hasn't made it across the finish line yet.

Thanks to Wud for organising all of this, Lance for hosting it, everyone who participated and all who read the threads.

Everyone is a winner here.
I wouldn't have made that tenor Weiss style if this competition didn't happen.
Thanks wud-man, Lance and everybody else!
That little tenor is my favorite one to play for now!
Nice not having those pesky bass strings in the way.

Congrats to all who completed instruments, they look great. I was too chicken to even join in the fun. . .
