Does anyone have a good source for Blue, Red, and other color fiber bindings or purflings that are color fast? I got some colored fiber sheets from an unnamed vendor but they are not color fast which could turn out to be a serious problem in finishing. (still trying to get the dye stains off my fingers!)

I'm not interested in celluloid or plastic. Well, plastic (PVC) maybe, but definitely NOT celluloid. The dyed wood veneers are all way thinner and much more problematic than I care to deal with.

Hi Bill

I have black/blue/black and black/red/black purflings. Each layer is .020" (.020/.020/.020), .060" tall.

Have you had problems? I've used them myself and never had a problem finishing.
