My daughter's music teacher has a pre-war (1930s Martin 000-18 that needs a neck reset. If it were mine, I'd tackle it myself, but it's not, and it's clearly a very valuable guitar.

Who would you recommend to do a reset, the RIGHT WAY, in the general area of Westchester County, New York.

There should be several options in the city.

Mandolin Brothers is where I would start. They've seen a fair number of old Martins over the last 40 years.

I may be out of date on this, but I believe Roger Sadowski is still in New York and still offers repairs? He'd be my recommendation.
