Can anyone give me some tips or secrets on how you cut soundholes and rosettes without the stew mac fly cutter thing....

Laminate trimmer with a circle cutting base I ginned up. Pretty similar concept to Michael N. but with a laminate trimmer in place of the blade

I use a Bosch Colt and a homemade circle cutter. But I always line it out with a Popsicle stick cutter as shown in the second post. That way it comes off real clean on the edge.
