Simply stated - Good idea, inadequate implementation.

I continue to be frustrated by the magnificent lack of legislative due diligence in these matters. It's hard for me to find the word or group of words that have enough descriptive power to convey the point. In my opinion, there has been a serious lack of legislative due diligence in the amending of Lacey in 2008. AND, I see no reason why this legislation wouldn't be subject to, just like the freshman language and interpretation of Lacey, the law of unintended consequences. No great effort was given to deal with any material that already existed in the U.S....otherwise we wouldn't all be wondering what the hell's next!

Makes me sick. pfft

Chris, I think you chose your words pretty well. I agree with all of them, but I especially liked "magnificent lack of legislative due diligence". I laughed when I first read that, then I cried because it's so true. :cry:
