That's terrible news. He was a good friend. May he rest in peace.

Oh man, that is sad. Do you have any details, Lance?

Indeed it is. Paul Woolson told me yesterday
That David passed away after a battle with
Cancer.

That's very sad news . I met Dave at one of our Florida Guitar Builders meetings and he
was a great guy and a fine guitar builder. He will certainly be missed. RIP Dave!

Sad news indeed! David was one of the less than 100 or so when we all started here! I wish his family peace. I lost my father to cancer this past winter, I know that he was happy to be done with the pain but it does leave a whole for those still behind.

This is very sad news.
Oddly enough, I thought about contacting him a couple months back because he's been off the grid for so long ,but didn't.

Be at peace, maker of Siesta Key Guitars...

Sad indeed! I never met him either, but I bought my first set of BRW from him in one of the OLF Swap Meets, before the system change over.

Very sad. I got to know him from OLF fairly well back in the old days and beginning here. He helped me out with many thing here and calls we had back and forth. Good, good man. He loved the craft and worked hard at it. Family in our prayers here.

I met Dave and did some work for him many years ago and also got to spend some time with him at an ASIA symposium many years ago. Great person, he will be missed. Siesta Key Guitars will live on in the owners of the instruments. RIP Dave.
