I'm mounting my adjustable bridge on a 25-1/2 in scale. Does anybody have an accurate placement location? I guess what I'm asking is what is the shortest intonation length on the high E, 25-3/8? and maybe the longest intonation length on the low E, 25-5/8?
It's really tight in the forward direction, and gee whiz, I only want to mount it once and in the right place....

I'm not an electric guy, but I see no need to go shorter than the 25.5" scale. I'd say 25 9/16" to the center of the adjustment on the treble side, and 3/32" longer on the bass side.

Depends on the type of bridge you have, you want to have the high E string at the front of it's adjustment, at scale length.
You will never need negative compensation adjustment.
The stewmac fret calculator gives a good guide to bridge placement for the various types of bridge.

The bridge is a Kahler USA 2300 Hybrid fixed bridge with adjustment for intonation, string height, and string spacing. I did just what you guys told me and adjusted the intonation adjuster almost all the way out and then lined that up at 25-1/2". This guitar is just a little bit tight with a 25-1/2" scale, a 24 fret neck and space for 3 Humbuckers between the end of the fretboard and the bridge. I had about 1/8th to play with if moving the bridge forward before running into the pickup ring. Turns out I didn't need to if set like above..... Cool! Thanks guys.
