Just ordered this glue pot 'cuz it looked cool!
I know a lot of you guys have home-grown glue pots for under 10 bucks or something, but I like the "old-world" feel that this thing has, except for the electric warmer. It kinda seems like something The Padma would pull out to heat up his glue with.

I bought one from Hank Levin at the GAL. I like it but I had to enlarge the brush access hole with a file. The warmer is worth the extra money. Your hide glue will last longer, however, if maintained in a little squeeze bottle that is suspended in the warm water. This little glue pot is very pretty and I like mine mostly because of that.

I have the same pot. When I first recieved it there was a small hole in the bottom of the glue pot that was barely visible. My glue kept getting really runny and I couldn't figure out why? Finally I found the tiny hole letting the water in and put some epoxy over the hole, worked great ever since.

Kewl, I'll check for holes.
Squeeze bottle's a great idea!
Fillipo, I like your glue warmer too, kinda has the opposite feel, it would probably look more at home in my workshop than the brass one!
Is hide glue Thixotropic? (just kidding....)
