Hi Guys and gals!
Just a quick check in to let you know I'm kickin and let you know what ive been up to in case you wondered ;)
Both my girls have fully immersed them selves in horsemanship this year. I knew it was only a matter of time before my oldest found a way to seek out a local 4H group and start putting the pressure on me to get it going. She has been horse crazy since she knew what one was.
Any how, we have been getting lessons three nights a week, and attending horse shows every other Sunday. Both girls are doing great.
Here are a few pics.

Both have placed in the top 6 of there class each time out. So were quite proud of them.

I still get my fair share of shop time, and I am plugging along pretty good. Its everything else that is getting short changed. Summer is flying by!

Don't worry, I am here every day, approving accounts, helping folks get logged in, keeping an eye out for trouble :-)

Best
Lance

I proposed on horseback. I'm jealous of all the time they get to spend riding!

WAS and TAS is a minor league addiction compared to H(orse)AS and T(ack)AS. But, it's a great way for your daughters to learn responsibility and self discipline. Enjoy the shows.

Very cool! Looks like the girls (and the horses!) are having a good time. Love the hat in the ribbon picture :D Glad to hear that you're having some fun in the shop too. Take a few photos of what you're working on and post them in the weekly updates thread!

My youngest (almost 13) is drinking the same kool-aid. She's got horse fever real bad. We are fortunate in that there is a very good stable 7 minutes down the road from us.

The Obvious question here with daughters ( I have 1 ) is how much bathroom time do you actually get around the house ? laughing6-hehe

Looks like your daughters are having a great time working with the horses. With the price of new cars and gas, we all might do better looking at that option ;) instead of getting ripped off by the big oil companies and auto makers. I'm thinking about getting a horse and buggy setup myself. Good to see you posting!
