I have an Epiphone model FT 365 12 string that was made in Japan in for set up.. The neck angle is off and I’m not sure what kind of joint it has. There is a bolt coming out of the neck block into the body with a nut on it, I believe it’s a M6X1. I loosened the nut and the neck still feels secure. I suspect it will have epoxy in the joint. I don’t think it’s had a neck reset because the finish is not broken at the neck joint. I’m not sure I want to continue with this one. If they used epoxy I suspect the joint was made sloppy and the voids filled with epoxy.

Can anyone give me some clues on how the joint was constructed.
Has anyone done a reset on one of these?
Any help would be appreciated
