I'm starting a Squareneck Resonator build for a friend and I will be using some plywood to support the cone. What kind of plywood is suitable for use in instrument building? The only thing I've found locally that is thin enough (don't want 3/4" thick ply) and is decent quality was at Hobby Lobby......and it isn't wide enough for what I'm wanting to do (12" width is the widest they had).

May end up needing to order what I need or drive to Tulsa, OK or Springfield, MO to find what I need. Any suggestions for sources?

I just received some Baltic birch ply for tail blocks from the vendor at the link below. Nice stuff and seems reasonably priced. It's available in many thicknesses as well.

Darryl,
You may want to source some 1/2" plywood drawer stock. It is usually reasonably cheap and solid core, so when you look at the edge you see 5 strips of wood with no gaps. I do have some around that I can send out if you can't find it.
Rob

Make some up yourself (cold-molded) out of any suitable offcuts/scraps.
